Long Lake Provincial Park is far more developed than I expected. It appears to be a very popular summer campground. Some of it was cleared of snow in the winter, but not all of it.

The lake is beautiful and large. The trails are wide and well kept. The terrain is hilly and there are lots of moose around.

In winter, I saw no one else around, although there were a few snowmobile trails around. It looks like it will become overrun with people in summer though. If you want to hike around here with a little more privacy, the trail actually has another trailhead. You can access the trail system from a small dirt road going east from the 831 at 661.
