These are beautiful trails through lush forest, scattered with lots of small lakes. Wildlife is abundant, and can be seen most in the early morning or at dusk.
The trails are well signed at every fork, and you won't ever loose the trail.
There is a relatively huge parking area, so I imagine it can get busy here. When I went there were only a few other cars. There are outhouses beside the parking lot.
It is about half an hour west of Edmonton. To get here from the Yellowhead (highway 16), turn north on highway 779, and then west on township road 534. Turn north on Range Road 12a. Turn east on Township Road 535, and then a few meters later, north into the parking area. This may sound complicated, but it's actually pretty simple, and if you get lost the drive itself is beautiful.
