The Trail of the Cedars in Glacier National Park in Montana is a beautiful trail. The cedar forest is peaceful and beautiful, and Avalanche Creek is spectacular, especially in the canyon near where the trail crosses the creek. This trail doesn't take long at all and is quite popular, but is well worth it.
To get here take the Going to the Sun Road. Just a bit east of Lake McDonald, you will see signs for the trailhead. It is right beside the Avalanche Creek Campground.
