Goldstream Creek and Falls

Goldstream creek is a beautiful rocky and mossy creek below the falls. It is a very peaceful and easy walk up the creek to the falls. Right at the falls, there is a bit of elevation gain and loss, which can get your heart rate up, but there are benches if you need them, and really it's not that big a hill.

The falls are about 40 feet high, and quite nice. The falls are a little more popular than the creek, as campers often go to the falls without going along the creek trail.

To get here, take highway 1, turn west at Sooke Lake Road, then turn north onto Golden Gate Road. The trail starts on the left as you're facing the gatehouse.
