This is a large wooden foredeck and prow embedded in a sandy beach, the only remnants of the log barge that ran aground in a 1928 winter storm. Starting just past the Tlell River Bridge on highway 16, the Pesuta Shipwreck Trail is also part of the 89-km East Beach Trail of Naikoon Provincial Park, leading from the Tlell River Estuary to Rose Spit on the Northeastern-most extremity of Graham Island. Beware of tides.
