This is one of many destinations while starting out from Lake Louise, and one of the quicker ways to an amazing view.
To get here you start along the extremely popular trail on the north side of Lake Louise. You will quickly branch off to the right (north) and start gaining elevation. Eventually you will get to the tea house where the trail splits. Head back east and continue to gain elevation. This trail will take you to the viewpoint.
