Beaverhill Lake

Beaverhill Lake is hardly a lake anymore. In the spring there might be a little water here, but by fall it is long gone. In its place is a huge flat area full of many kinds of weeds, grasses, and dried mud. This actually makes for an impressively picturesque landscape. It feels like Saskatchewan where the sky stretches on forever.

You just have to make sure you take note of which direction you're walking, because if you get out to the middle of the "lake", it can be hard to see which direction your vehicle is.

To get here from highway 855, turn west on TWP road 522, and go to the end where there is a place to turn around and/or park your vehicle.
