We walked around Crowsnest Lake and checked out the cave on the other side of the lake. Unfortunately, there was way too much water coming out of it for us to get in easily. So we just enjoyed the view of the falls, and kept going along the train tracks. This was a nice easy walk too (besides crossing a pretty deep river to get to the other side of the lake) and while it took most of a day, it was more of a meander than a hike. Some of it was through a little town, and some beside the highway. The cave was definitely the highlight of this walk, and other than that it's not too exciting. The lake is not surrounded by very spectacular mountains.
Access
Probably the easiest way to get to the tracks is from the provincial campground west of Crowsnest Lake. There is a fence there that you would have to go around or cross over though.
