The red rock is fascinating. Canyons are great. The road to get here is spectacular! The paved, fenced walk around this canyon is a little uninspiring.
It is an easy, short walk. It can fill time on rainy days. It is a good walk for families or people with reduced mobility. There are also a few different trailheads at the end of the road if you're looking for longer hikes.
The road to get here, on the other hand, is a must-drive. There is tons of wildlife. The Crandell Campground is a great place to stay. The little pullouts and picnic areas along the road are all great places to stop and do a little exploring.
