This trail is a little different from a lot of other trails in the area. A boardwalk winds through beaver created swamps for the first while. Once it gets closer to the coast, it starts to become rocky with more typical forest. The loop at the end has lots of rocks with open spaces --- perfect for a little picnic.
The campsite is pleasant with room for a few tents, but it lacks separate sites. Also, this is a pretty busy trail, so it might not be the most relaxing place to camp if you want privacy.
