Cory Pass

The Cory Pass hike was pretty hard, but totally worth it. It would have been nice to scramble around the pass area a little more, but I was pretty tired, with a couple people who wanted to keep going, and it was a fairly long day hike anyway. We went clockwise around the loop. This got the steep climbing out of the way first, and we had a fairly gentle descent. I think next time I would do it the other way, so the climbing is gentle and through the trees, and the descent would be steeper. Then during the descent you would have spectacular views, without having to turn around, and if you time it right the views could be in evening light.
